Worcester – Anthony (Andy) Theodore Redman, 68, of Country Club Boulevard passed to his rest August 21, 2016, at home surrounded by his loving family after an extended illness; He leaves to mourn, his wife Pamela Milton-Redman, siblings Jeffrey of London, two sisters: Maureen of Philadelphia, PA, and Nello of Barbados;  In addition he leaves an extended family including, step sons Joel Caesar, Rodrick, Rupert, and Ruben Milton of Worcester, grandsons Rodrick Jr. and Tyree Milton and Elijah Caesar, and granddaughters Cheyenne, Chardea, and Mya Milton; three nephews, Godwin Mayers of Philadelphia, Robert, and Malcom Redman of London; three nieces, Juanita Evelyn of Barbados, Marcia and Susan Redman of London; Close friend of Alva and the Gilkes family, Worcester, MA, Glyne Best and Henderson Griffith, NY and Cardie and Margaret Welch of Shrewsbury, MA.

 Among his hobbies, Andy enjoyed reading, was an avid fisherman, and was a fan of his beloved New England Patriots.  Andy was born on the beautiful Caribbean island of Barbados on January 1, 1948 to Marie Redman and Kenneth Scantlebury; He received his early education at the St. Albans Junior School, and completed High School at the Barbados Academy and the Coleridge and Parry Secondary Schools in Barbados.  Andy immigrated to the US in 1971 and lived, briefly, in Lancaster, MA before moving to Worcester, MA where he has lived since 1976.

  A memorial funeral service celebrating Andy’s life is planned for September 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Adams Square Baptist Church, 266 Lincoln Street Worcester, MA. May he rest in peace. There will be no calling hours. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Beacon Hospice Staff for the tender care and loving support Andy received while in their care.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Beacon Hospice, 36 Williams Street Leominster, MA 01453.
