Wanda Hernandez

  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother & Grandmother Wanda Hernandez who passed away on May 10, 2024. She was 49 years old and had been living in Worcester MA for many years. Wanda passed away peacefully.

  Born on October 3, 1974, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Wanda was the last born out of the 9 children Maria and Amador raised.  Wanda Hernandez was a devoted family woman and a loving grandmother. She leaves 4 children Sheyla, Nayi, Bienvenido and Chakira and her grandkids Jeiliany, Jesiel, Nangelys, Jeyden, Mia, Alianny, Jeremiah and Milanyz, all of whom she loved dearly.

  Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her sweet and friendly personality, dedication, humbleness and her devotion to helping others in need. Wanda was someone you could always depend on and was always available to give a helping hand.

  Calling hours will be held on Monday May 20, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm. It will be held at Graham Putnam and Mahoney Funeral Parlors 838 Main St Worcester MA 01610. We’re putting her to rest on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 9:30am at Hope Cemetery 119 Webster st Worcester Ma. Family and friends are welcome to attend the service to pay their final respects.  Wanda will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on through her children and grandchildren. Rest in peace. Gone but never forgotten.
