Timothy Sheehan Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Patrick Sheehan, a cherished father, grandfather, cousin, and friend, who passed away peacefully at home on April 23, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on April 17, 1956, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Timothy was the beloved son of the late James and Ida Sheehan.

Timothy’s roots ran deep in Worcester, where he spent his formative years and graduated from North High School in 1974. He began his career in 1977 at Worcester County Hospital in Boylston, Massachusetts, where he worked as a dedicated groundskeeper and later a supervisor in Laundry Services until the facility’s closure in 1993. He later took pride in his work as a delivery driver for Widoff’s Bakery in Worcester, where he was known for his reliability and friendly disposition.

A man of community and camaraderie, Tim helped coach sober leagues for the Crozier House for many years, positively impacting countless lives. He found joy in simple pleasures—playing cards with friends, bingo, fishing, and bowling—but especially cherished trips to Hampton Beach with family and friends. An avid sports enthusiast, he loved baseball and rarely missed a Red Sox game.

Timmy was a devoted father whose unwavering love and support for his children—Christopher Sheehan; Tiffany Sheehan and her fiancé, Ronnie; and Tayla Sheehan and her boyfriend, Dylan—were unmatched. He was always present in their lives, sharing weekends and holidays, making nightly calls, and celebrating every birthday.

He was a proud grandfather to Liam, Kailah, Audrianna, and Ryley, whom he adored. He also leaves behind his cousins, Nancy Parslow and Laurie Harnois, along with Laurie’s daughters, Katlyne and Nicole Parslow, all of whom were dear to him.

Timothy was predeceased by his parents, James and Ida Sheehan; his brother, Colonel James M. Sheehan; and his beloved daughter, Ashley Ida Elizabeth Sheehan.

Tim's legacy is one of love, laughter, and dedication to those he held dear. His gentle spirit and generous heart touched all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Timothy’s life at a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Crozier House, continuing his legacy of support for those in recovery.

Timothy Patrick Sheehan will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
