Shirley Scott

Worcester—Shirley M. Scott, 81, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Saint Vincent Hospital with her family present. Born in Worcester, she attended Worcester schools. Shirley had a passion for the Boston Red Sox and she enjoyed playing bingo and buying scratch tickets. She was very devoted to her family including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is the beloved wife of Robert N. Scott of Worcester; devoted mother of Robert Langley, Raymond Smith and William Smith all of Worcester; dear sister of Harriet Robinson and Ada Hale both of Worcester, Arthur Moir and Vernon Moir both of Spencer; beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews and loving grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grand-children.

Calling Hours and the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 10:00 am- 12 noon at Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street, Worcester, MA. Interment will be at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Miami, FL 33134.
