Robert Allen Manning, 68, died Friday July 7, 2023 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Robert and Rose (Allen) Manning.
He is survived by three sisters, June Manning of Worcester, Marlene Moscowitz of CT, and Mona Lisa Jeffers and husband Dean of NM. He also leaves nieces Tanya, Roberta, Monique and Gabrielle. Nephews Anthony, Bruce, Michael and Robert. Many grand nieces and nephews. Robert is predeceased by sisters Lucy Galli, Rosemary Vartanian and Roberta Ladieu , brothers-in-law Neil Moscowitz, Leonard Ladieu and nephew Marcus Ladieu.
Bobby will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and as the one son among six sisters. He was spoiled and loved by them all but had a special relationship with his sister June, whom he lived with. He retired from Polar Beverages several years ago. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He also enjoyed listening to music, bowling, and his many pets over the years, spoiling his sisters’ children and his Mexican food, having grown up in California. He will be missed by us all. There are no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
