Worcester – Moises Perez, 82, passed away at the UMass Memorial Medical Center on December 22, 2018;
He is survived by his wife: Diana Perez; three sons: David Perez, Jose Montalvo, and Jason Agostinell; two stepsons: Miguel Vargas, and Jose Villanueva; three daughters: Daisa Perez, Cathy Montalvo, Ariana Perez; two stepdaughters: Santa Vargas, and Gloria Mendez; his sister Cecilia Perez who was a mother figure to him; He also leaves many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; He was predeceased by Marisol Vargas who passed away on December 28, 1996.
Moises was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, but resided in Worcester for over fifty years; He loved spending time with his family, exercising, going for walks, although he was deaf, Moises loved and appreciated music; He also enjoyed his work as a barber.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday December 27, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday December 28, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home; Committal will follow in Hope Cemetery.
