Lisa Morales Quintana, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 25, 1955, in Manhattan, New York, raised in Boston, and later made her home in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and faith.
Lisa was the devoted wife of the late Jobo Morales Quintana Jr., who passed away in 2013. Together, they shared a beautiful life and created a family rooted in strength, warmth, and togetherness.
She is survived by her loving children: Serena Millett, Michelle Quintana and her husband Joey Almodovar, Sophie Quintana, Jobie Hagopian Morales-Quintana and his husband Jason Hagopian Morales-Quintana, and Luis Morales Quintana and his wife Janelle Larson. She was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild & many nieces and nephews all of whom were the light of her life.
Lisa was preceded in death by her beloved siblings Edward Hernandez, Violet Quintana, Rosalie Sims, and Amado Quintana, whom she now joins in eternal rest.
Lisa was a true matriarch — the heart and soul of her family. She was known for her incredible cooking and baking, especially her cakes, and for hosting joyful family gatherings where love and laughter always filled the room. She had a green thumb for gardening, a deep devotion to her church, and a timeless sense of fashion that matched her vibrant spirit. Her home was always open, her heart even more so.
Strong-willed and full of determination, Lisa was a fighter in every sense of the word. She faced life’s challenges with courage, faith, and grace, inspiring everyone around her with her resilience and unbreakable spirit.
Beyond her family, Lisa devoted much of her life to women’s recovery and empowerment work, offering guidance, compassion, and faith to countless women finding their path to healing. Her strength and empathy touched lives far beyond her own family, leaving a legacy of hope and resilience that will continue to inspire.
Her dedication to her community and her passion for service were recognized through numerous honors, including her service on the Oak Hill CDC Board of Directors, the prestigious Dorothy Richardson Award, a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition, and the Ambassador for Peace Award. These awards reflect the depth of her commitment to uplifting others and the lasting impact she made in her community.
Lisa loved deeply, gave selflessly, and lived gracefully. Her love was strong, her faith unshakable, and her legacy everlasting.
