With her loving and caring sons beside her, June (Labossiere) Sullivan (75) passed away peacefully Friday morning in Worcester, January 9, 2026
June was born in Worcester, November 12, 1950 and was the daughter Woodward H, Labossiere and Doris M. Lacey. She was preceded by her sister Donna M. Filipowski (2016) and her husband Stanley R. (2024), and her sister Linda L. Algieri (2024).
She leaves her two sons, Jeffrey R. Sullivan and Matthew J. Sullivan, both of Worcester, a sister Barbara D. Mancuso and her husband Anthony S. of Worcester, and her brother Donald W. Labossiere and his wife Gail of Leicester. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
June graduated from David Hale Fanning Girls Trade school in Worcester in 1968. She also took several classes at Quinsigamond Community College. June first worked for several years at St. Agnes Day Guild. Later on, when her sons were older, she worked as a very energic bartender at The Ground Round. Later on, she worked as a bartender at Maxwell Silverman’s until she finally retired.
June was a very warm and wonderful human being. She was a very artistic whether it be through her baking, crafts, for her amazing Halloween costumes or her amazing style. June loved a bargain and rarely passed one up. Her friends and relatives loved to drop in because there were special treats to try. June loved to entertain. While married June loved cookouts. You never left her house on an empty stomach. There was always room for a great desert at the end.
June will be truly missed by her sons and family
