Josefa Polanco Mercado

Worcester – Josefa Polanco Mercado, 70, passed away at the UMass Memorial Medical Center surrounded by her loving family;

She is survived by: her son: Pol Marte Polanco; her daughter: Michel Marte Polanco; six brothers: Francisco, Ramon, Jose, Jesus, Ramoncito, and Vincho; four sisters: Noris, Maria, Mariana, and Luchi; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Isabel, Jehimy, Polsito, Roxana, and Pamela.

Josefa was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on August 2, 1947, daughter of Ramon Polanco and Amada Mercado; She was a very happy and social lady who cherished the time she spent with her family and her close friends.

Calling Hours will be on Sunday May 20, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA; Committal will be private.
