Jacqueline Coles Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jacqueline Coles

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we celebrate the life of Jacqueline Coles, who was born on August 4, 1968, in New York and passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025. Though her time here has come to an end, her light continues to shine brightly in all the hearts she touched.

Jacqueline called Worcester and Vermont home throughout her life, filling every space she entered with warmth, laughter, and compassion. She was the kind of soul who made you feel like family the moment you met her — a gentle heart with an open door and a comforting smile.

She was a proud and devoted mother to her three children: Jacob, Sonja, and Troy Coles. She also leaves behind her beloved sister, Taneesha Friedus, and countless others she loved and cared for as her own. To Jacqueline, family wasn’t defined by blood alone — it was built through love, loyalty, and the countless small acts of kindness she gave so freely.

For over 30 years, Jacqueline served her community as a 911 dispatcher, guiding others through their hardest moments with calm, strength, and grace. She was a quiet hero — a voice of reassurance in the dark, a reminder that help was always on the way.

Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor on Monday, October 13th, from 5–7 p.m. at Graham Putnam Funeral Home on Main Street in Worcester, to celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she left behind.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit remains — in the laughter she sparked, the kindness she shared, and the love she gave so endlessly. Jacqueline’s heart was her gift to this world, and it will forever be her legacy.
