Harold Murphy

Worcester- Harold Murphy, 62, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Golding Living Center- The Hermitage after an extended illness.

Harold was born in Worcester, MA a son of the late Harold J. and Phyllis (Doman) Murphy. He attended Worcester Public Schools, and later went on to join the U.S. Army. Harold served his country proudly during the Vietnam Era. After his time in the military, he worked as a laborer with different construction companies around the city. Harold enjoyed watching cooking shows and game shows. He also enjoyed playing Keno, telling jokes and making people laugh.

Harold leaves behind four brothers all of Worcester: Richard Murphy and his wife Patricia, James Murphy and his wife Claire, Francis Murphy, and Martin Murphy. He leaves four sisters: Maureen Nieves of Worcester, Catherine Albino and her husband Jose of Worcester, Phyllis Alexander of Worcester, and Maryann Murphy of Puerto Rico. Harold also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved Harold dearly. He was predeceased by two brothers, John T. and Michael A. Murphy.

Services for Harold will be held at a later date to be announced.
