Obituary
Gloria D. Morse, 69, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 in Worcester, MA. Gloria was born in Holden, MA on July 3, 1953 and grew up in both Princeton and Worcester, MA. She attended Doherty Memorial High School before becoming a mother and raising her family in Quinsigamond Village where she lived for 30 years. She was a lover of animals, music, and anything purple. She loved to cook and would often be found singing and dancing in her kitchen while making dinner.
She is survived by her children; son, Jody Morse and his wife, Kim, of Charlton; daughter, Brandi Hansen, of Worcester; daughter, Jamie Hovenanian and her husband, Gerald, of Worcester; 3 granddaughters, Kylie Morse, Samantha Morse, and Casie Morse; 2 grandsons, Joshua Morse and Timothy Hansen; 3 beautiful great-granddaughters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her former husband and lifelong partner James F. Morse; mother, Ruth G. Thibeault (Gleason); her step-father, Francis F. Thibeault; father, Wallace A. Gleason; brother, Wallace “Chipper” Gleason; brother, George Gleason.
The family has decided not to hold a formal service and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Worcester Animal Rescue League in her honor.
