George A. Berthiaume ,77 years old, of Warren, MA passed away of natural causes following a stroke at UMASS Hospital, Worcester, MA Thursday, May 30, 2019. Born in Worcester, MA.
George was the oldest of 5 children (3 boys, 2 girls) born to Clarence & Bella Berthiaume of Spencer, MA. Married to his wife Sharron (LaTour) Berthiaume for 54 years, they had 10 children together (7boys, 3 girls). Through the years their family grew to include 4 Daughter In-Laws, 1 Son In-Law, 8 Granddaughters, 9 Grandsons, 1 Grandson In-Law and 1 Granddaughter In-Law.
George had many occupations but he was mostly know as a truck driver and school bus driver. In his younger years George was referred to as The Bible Man. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses George had an extensive knowledge of the Bible and he loved to talk to people about the Bible and share his hope of a paradise earth.
A brief, casual Memorial Gathering will be held at Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street, Worcester, MA on Saturday, June 8, 2019 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Please do not send flowers.
