Eneida Ortiz, 63, passed away peacefully at her home in Worcester, Massachusetts, on April 9, 2026.

Born on May 18, 1962, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Eneida was a woman of deep faith, remarkable strength, and extraordinary kindness. Her heart was open to everyone, and she showed genuine care and compassion to all—especially those in need. She gave herself freely, always putting others before herself, and her warmth left a lasting mark on every life she touched.

She is survived by her beloved son, Edwin Rodriguez of Paxton, Massachusetts; her cherished grandchildren, Emilyanis and Ethan Rodriguez, who were truly the light of her eyes; her daughter-in-law, Edna Rodriguez; her best friend of many years, Wilfredo Torres; as well as one brother, a few sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in Jehovah God’s promise at Acts 24:15, that we will see Eneida again here on earth in perfect conditions, where death will be no more. We hold onto the hope of embracing her again and living together in everlasting happiness.

She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always remembered.

Nacida el 18 de mayo de 1962 en Ponce, Puerto Rico, Eneida fue una mujer de profunda fe, gran fortaleza y extraordinaria bondad. Su corazón siempre estuvo abierto para todos, mostrando amor y compasión genuina, especialmente hacia los más necesitados. Se entregaba sin reservas, poniendo siempre a los demás primero, y su calidez dejó una huella imborrable en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Le sobreviven su querido hijo, Edwin Rodriguez de Paxton, Massachusetts; sus adorados nietos, Emilyanis y Ethan Rodriguez, quienes eran la luz de sus ojos; su nuera, Edna Rodriguez; su mejor amigo de muchos años, Wilfredo Torres; además de un hermano, varias hermanas, y muchos sobrinos y sobrinas.

Aunque nuestros corazones están rotos, encontramos consuelo en la promesa que Jehová Dios nos da en Hechos 24:15, de que pronto veremos a Eneida nuevamente aquí en la tierra en condiciones perfectas, donde la muerte ya no existirá. Nos aferramos a la esperanza de abrazarla otra vez y vivir juntos en felicidad eterna.

Siempre será profundamente extrañada, atesorada para siempre y recordada con amor.
