Edwin Cruz

Worcester – Edwin Cruz, 68, the beloved father and patriarch of our family was called home by his Heavenly Father on Tuesday November 6, 2018.  Though it pains us to say farewell to you, it is now your time to rest in paradise.

Edwin is survived by his spouse: Migdalia Morales; six sons: Joel Vazquez, Ismael Cruz, Edwin Cruz, Israel Walker, Isaac Gonzalez, and George Delgado; four daughters: Christine Cruz, Sara Gonzalez, Phoebe Gonzalez, and Sherrylee Cruz; his brother: Gil Cruz; his sister: Aracelis Ortiz; six grandsons, 12 granddaughters, one great-grandson, and one great-granddaughter; He also leaves many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Edwin was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on July 19, 1950, son of Ismael Cruz and Olga Muriel; He enjoyed playing dominos and playing pool; He loved traveling, especially by boat out on the ocean, but his number one priority was his family, all of which he loved so very much.

Calling Hours will be on Monday November 12, 2018 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm at the Belmont AME Zion Church, 55 Illinois Street Worcester, MA; The funeral service will be on Tuesday November 13, 2018 from 9:00 – 10:00 am at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA; Committal will follow in Hope Cemetery.
