Donna Fontaine Obituary

 Worcester: Donna L. Fontaine died peacefully at her home on Friday January 2, 2026, after a 4-year courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her partner and best friend of 31 years Tammy Nelson. Three sons Michael Fontaine of Uxbridge. Steven Fontaine of Worcester and David Fontaine and his fiancé Lindsey of Virginia. Her sister Florence Vorron of Maryland, and her two grandchildren. She also leaves Alice Douglas who was like a second mother to her, and nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 1 brother and 2 sisters.

 Donna graduated from South High school in 1974 and started working for State Mutual Insurance. She retired from Harleysville Group Insurance as a senior claims clerk.  Donna and Tammy enjoyed many trips to Disney World in Florida and spending time going to the beach. Donna also enjoyed a large cup of ice coffee from Dunkin Donuts and watching her court shows. She will be missed by all who knew her.

 Family and friends are invited to gather for calling hours Friday January 9th from 10am to 12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm in the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors 838 Main St. Worcester, Ma 01610 Entombment will be in the Notre Dame Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
