Worcester- Diane Marie Posontek, 66, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center after an extended illness.
Diane leaves her brothers Victor Schnare and Danny Schnare and a sister Victoria Gary. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Exelvon Stanley Posontek in 1997.
Diane was born in Worcester on June 30, 1950 a daughter of the late Victor G. and Dorothy E. (Sullivan) Schnare. She loved to knit and was a very social and lovable person. She loved music and dancing. Diane was a kind hearted woman who would do anything for anyone.
Calling Hours for Diane will be Monday, February 6, 2017 from 10-11AM at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St. Worcester, MA 01610. Burial for Diane with her husband will be at 12:45PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave. Bourne, MA.
