East Brookfield- Blanche “Toni” M. Mansfield, 53, left us much too soon on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Rose Monahan Hospice House.
Blanche was born on May 20, 1962 on Bell Island, Newfoundland, Canada a daughter of the late Thomas and Blanche (Brown) Mansfield. She leaves her loving daughter with whom she lived Jamie Lee Miknaitis, her brother Gary & his wife Robin of FL; her sisters Mary Coppolino and her husband Peter of South Barre, Cynthia Burdulis and her husband Tom of Worcester, Valerie Harrington and her husband Brian of ME, Pamela Goodale and her husband Steven of Barre, her sister-in-law Jane Mansfield of Barre, her brother-in-law Larry Elledge of SC, her former husband Michael Miknaitis and many nieces and nephews. Blanche was predeceased by her brother Thomas Jr. and sister Christina Elledge.
Blanche loved life- she was a single mother and a very strong woman who was always smiling and who loved her family. She loved spending her time with her daughter Jamie Lee. Blanche was a hard worker- she worked for many years as a Nurses’ Aide at Auburn Life Center. She enjoyed being able to help people. She also loved gardening, playing softball, music and dancing. One of her famous quotes to recite was “Happy, Happy, Happy.” Blanche will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and anyone who knew her, “loved her.”
A Celebration of Blanche’s Life will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 11:00am to 12 Noon at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA 01610.
