Worcester – Alexander “Big Al” Franceschi, 50, passed away on February 23, 2019 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center .
Alex was born in Worcester, MA on February 25, 1968; He lived in Worcester all his life, working as a bus driver for over thirty years.
Alex was an angel on this earth; he was loved by many and will definitely be missed by his parents: Jaime and Maria Teresa (Montalvo) Franceschi; two brothers: James Franceschi, and his companion Mary Wyne, and Roberto Franceschi; his beloved sister: Maria Franceschi; three nieces: Ariela, Jahdei, and Alexsandra; two nephews: James Calvin Franceschi, and Timothy Howell-Franceschi; and by all who were blessed to know him and call him his friend.
All are invited to attend Calling Hours on Thursday February 28, 2019 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 1, 2019 at 11:00 am in the funeral home; Committal will follow in Hope Cemetery.
