He is survived by one son: Robert Lovett III of Edison, NJ; two daughters: Carlene Bowers and her husband Glasford of Fitchburg, and Alisha Lovett-Appiah and her husband Joseph of Worcester; one brother: Torrence Lovett of Miami; two sisters: Barbara Gean Lovett-McCloud of Worcester, and Francine Lovett of Gardner; five great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews relatives, and friends.om
Robert was born in Woodbridge, New Jersey on September 11, 1947, son of Robert and Viola (Wycoff) Lovett; He was raised in New Jersey, and graduated from the John P. Stevens High School; moving to Worcester in 2001; He greatly enjoyed baseball, basketball, football, poetry, dancing, and shopping, but nothing compared to the joy he had when he would be with his cherished family and friends. Robert was a great father, and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Visitation will be on Friday January 6, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Second Baptist Church, 14 Hammond Street Worcester, MA; Committal will be private.
