Fiskdale - Richard Paul Pedersen passed away unexpectedly in his home on April 26, at the age of 63;
He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Beatrice Pedersen.
Richard is survived by his brothers, David and Robert Pedersen as well as his two sisters, Diane Macfarlane and Marie Green. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.Richard is lovingly remembered by his seven children and fifteen grandchildren. Justin Pedersen and his wife Heather Pedersen of Leicester, Amy Sullivan and her husband Michael Sullivan of Webster, Cristy Farrar of Webster, Shannon Maki and her husband Raymond Maki of Oxford, Cassandra Pedersen of Tennessee, Chad Pedersen of Worcester, and his youngest Chance Pedersen of Auburn.
Richard grew up in Worcester Ma, where he loved boxing at the local Boys Club as a kid. He worked as a foreman at the L Farber Co in Worcester for 23 years and then went on to manage at Walmart in Sturbridge Ma. Richard was a very hardworking man and very meticulous in everything he did. He loved building things, big or small, whether it was building model ships and cars, or taking on large carpentry projects in and around his house. He was a huge PATS fan and had a love for horses and Native American memorabilia. This man also made the best homemade meatballs, never to reveal his recipe. One of his favorite places to visit were the White Mountains in NH. He always felt a sense of peace and happiness there.
