Evarista Diaz

Worcester – Evarista Diaz, 91, of Worcester entered into rest on Friday December 16, 2017 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center;

She was the beloved wife of the late Cirilo Diaz, devoted mother of Jose D. Diaz, Luis A. Diaz, Maria R. Fugatt, and Martha Diaz Dufresne, all of Worcester, Cirilo Diaz Jr. of VA and the late Angel R. Diaz and Rene Diaz; Dear sister of Nancy Rivera, Juan Aviles, Alberto Aviles, Lydia Reyes, Carmen Santiago, and the late Rafaela Amador and Fabian Zayas; Dear grandmother of 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many great, great grandchildren who she loved and adored.

Calling Hours will be on Wednesday December 20, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday December 21, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 929 Main Street Worcester, MA; Committal will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
