Gardner – Darren A. Taft, 53, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2018 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester;
He was born in Gardner, MA on October 14, 1964, son of the late Ralph and Paulette (Hebert) Taft, also grandson of Ralph and Marjorie (Waite) Taft and Alfred and Antonia (Ares) Hebert.
Darren attended Gardner schools; He was an altar boy at the Holy Spirit Church; He played in the Gardner Little League and played softball for many years;
He was a truck driver for J.B.M. for twenty-five years; He also worked for Scott’s Pallets for ten years.
Darren was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, but his loved his New England Patriots and all New England Sports;
He leaves his wife Rebecca (Magee) Taft; his two daughters: Madyson (Taft) Silvagnoli and Mackenzie Taft and his dog Jack; his sister: Deborah (Taft) Takhalouft; his brother: Scott Taft; his aunts: Lee Gagne and June Hebert, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
