Pre-payment of your funeral service can be made in one payment or monthly payments whichever you prefer.

Once you and your family decide to Plan Ahead and Pre-Pay for your funeral arrangements, your payment will be placed into either a life insurance policy or an annuity. Both the insurance policy and the annuity have their own benefits and they will be explained to you, so we will be able to decide which one is better for you and your family

Two Ways of Pre-Funding Funerals Are:

Life Insurance 

Your payment for your funeral service will be placed into an irrevocable life insurance policy. This policy protects your assets from nursing homes and other long term care facilities, which meets the Medicaid requirements. The death benefit is generally exempt from income tax liability on the growth of the policy. The payment of the death benefit which pays for your Funeral or Cremation Service goes to the beneficiary, Graham Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors.

Annuity  

An annuity is another way to pre-fund your funeral. This is used mainly when someone is elderly and in very poor health.
