Mary Jo (Minardi) Hill

Worcester – Mary Jo Hill, 69, passed away on July 5, 2019 at the Hermitage of Worcester;

She is survived by the love of her life, who dedicated his time to care for her during her illness,  her husband Richard R. Hill, to whom she has been married for forty-five years; her son: Scott Hill; her brother: Carl P. Minardi and his wife Barbara of Port Charlotte; two sisters: Elsie G. Shippole and her husband Peter of Shrewsbury and Nancy M. Brunelle and her husband Paul of Worcester; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; she was predeceased by her daughter Roxanne M. Hill andher sister Theresa A. Vangel.

Mary Jo was born in Worcester on July 25, 1949, daughter of Natale and Mary C. (Giovanelli) Minardi; she was a loving mother to her children and loved going out to lunch with her family and friends; she enjoyed playing bingo and adored her dog Toby.

Mary Jo’s family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff who cared for her at the hermitage and for the care provided by the hospice team.

Calling Hours will be held on Monday July 15, 2019 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA; Committal services will be private.
