Worcester- Rhonda Jo “Twiggy” Winslow, 60, passed away at St. Francis Rehab & Nursing Center on Monday, August 1, 2016 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Rhonda is survived by her two daughters: Marnie Clifford of East Sandwich and Megan Mary Clifford and her spouse David Allen of Acworth, NH, her 3 grandchildren: Lillian Rose, Hunter, & Jackson, and one grandbaby on the way, Willow.  She is also survived by her father Philip Winslow of Mapleton, ME, 2 sisters: Valerie Jean Winslow of Spencer and Carol Lee Winslow of S. Yarmouth, 2 nieces: Lacey T. Winslow and Rebecca M. Cote, a nephew Erik P. Bergman, Rhonda had an Aunt Pauline "Polly" Rockefeller, the family Matriarch, and many wonderful Uncles as well as many close friends who were like family. 

Rhonda was predeceased by her mother Marjorie (Dean) Winslow and a brother Steven Philip Winslow. Rhonda was proud of her heritage, and boasted about being a descendent of the late Alden & Ethel Winslow and the late Mildred & Waldmer Dean.   

Rhonda was born and raised in Worcester a daughter of Philip Winslow and the late Marjorie (Dean) Winslow. She was a 1973 graduate of Burncoat High School, and later moved to South Yarmouth, MA and she was a manager at the Edge of the Sea Motel. After moving back to Abby’s House in Worcester, Rhonda began her volunteer involvement with M.O.A.R., a program she worked with for over ten years. She was very in tune with her Native American spirituality, and was known for going to Pow Wows. Rhonda had an impressive stone collection that she was proud of. She loved animals and birds of all kinds, especially the eagles. Her favorite place in the world was Maine, and she cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren as well as with her Niece Lacey and father Phil.

A Memorial Service for Rhonda will be Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at the Funeral Home. All are welcome to join the family for a time of remembrance.
