Worcester- Raymond E. Fenner, 56, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital after a sudden illness.

Ray leaves behind his loving wife of 36 years, Kimberly (Parker) Fenner, their three children, Raymond Fenner Jr. and his wife Neisha of Lunenburg, Brian Fenner and his fiancé Gissette of Worcester, and Jillian Fenner and her fiancé Robert of Oxford. He also leaves 12 grandchildren, his brother Walter Fenner of Worcester, a sister, Bernice Alcorn and her husband Alan of Worcester, and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Raymond was predeceased by his daughter, Katie Fenner, three brothers: James, Glen Jr. and Leo Fenner, and a grandson, Nathaniel Fenner.

Raymond was born and raised in Worcester, a son of the late Glen and Ethel Fenner.  He was a graduate of Doherty High School, and later went on to work as a driver for Killeen Machine Company in Worcester for 32 years. He also served in the US Army National Guard for many years. Ray enjoyed bowling, fishing, and playing darts with his son Brian, leading his team to a championship for the 3G’s Sports Bar. He also enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins play, but most of all he loved to play with and spend time with his grandchildren.

Calling Hours for Ray will be Friday, February 3, 2017 from 10-11AM at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main St. Worcester with a Funeral Service at 11AM. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
