He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on October 22, 1959, son of Eugenio Lugo and Rosa Rodriguez.
Rafael leaves his Soul Mate Maria Eugarte of 14 years, his mother Rosa Rodriguez, his only Sister Nilda (Lugo) Garcia, his 2 Brothers Efrain Lugo and Julio Lugo, Nieces, Nephews and Step Children
Rafael did not have any children of his own, but he helped raise 11 children from his previous relationship. We used to call Rafael “Rafy” He was also known back in his days for his big “fro” which was making him look taller then what he really was. Rafael had a big heart he was a humble person; He kept to himself, but if you asked for a favor he was there to help you out in any way he could. Rafael will be missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be on Friday June 23, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am in the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA; Committal will follow in Hope Cemetery.
