Worcester – Patrick David Smith, 76, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital on February 3, 2017;
Patrick is survived by his wife Nancy (Grady) Smith; five sons: Patrick D. Smith Jr and his wife Anna of Oxford, Kenneth Smith and his wife Terry of Worcester, Robert Smith and his wife Melissa of Aliquipa, PA, Michael Smith of Grafton, and Terry Smith of Worcester; one daughter: Mary Tucker and her husband Darryl of Melbourne, FL; one brother: Earle Smith Sr of Bolton; one sister: Sharon Lamonda of Northbridge; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Michael Smith.
Patrick was born in White Water Junction, VT on October 28, 1940, son of the late Clarence and Verna (Hoisington) Smith; He worked in the textile industry for many years, and greatly enjoyed horse racing, and trying his luck on scratch tickets; He will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be on Tuesday February 7, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, followed by a prayer service at 11:00 am in the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA; Committal will be private.
