Jose M. Rosario

Worcester – Jose M. Rosario, 75, passed away at home on April 15, 2017;

He is survived by his step-son: Junior Medina; two brothers: Denny Rosario, and Victor Rosario; three sisters: Maritza Rosario, Mercedes Rosario, and Carmen L. Rosario; He also leaves many relatives and friends.  Jose was predeceased by his wife of twenty years, Nancy Rosario who passed away in 2010; his daughter Roselyn Rosario, who passed away last year; three brothers: Rafael Rosario, who passed away in 1970, Francisco Rosario, who passed away in 1980, and Luis Rosario, who passed away in 2003, and his sister Maria Del Rosario, who passed away in 1999.

Jose was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on January 22, 1942, son of Jose and Maria (Molina) Rosario; He was a construction worker for many years.

Jose was a devout Christian, and family man; He enjoyed basketball and baseball, and was an avid fan of the NY Yankees,; He also liked to play dominoes, but nothing brought him joy like being close to his family and those he loved.

Calling hours will be on Monday April 24, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA; A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 25, 2017 at 11:00 am in the funeral home; Committal will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
