Oxford - Joanne Lavalle, 62, passed away at UMass Memorial Medical Center on Saturday November 14, 2015 surrounded by her loving family; she is survived by one brother: Ernest Lavalle of North Oxford; three sisters: Theresa Cameron of Worcester, Kathleen Jones of Leicester, and Elaine Fort of Rutland; Joanne also leaves many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives; She was predeceased by two brothers: Lloyd and Alan Lavalle.
Joanne was born in Worcester, MA on December 21, 1952, daughter of Lloyd and Barbara (Hodgerney) Lavalle; She lived in Oxford for her entire life. Joanne was a kind-hearted, generous person, and enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends; She loved all people, and enjoyed playing bingo with her friends, and she always had a special place in her heart for her beloved cat Baby.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main Street Oxford, MA 01540, on Saturday November 28, 2015 at 1:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Huguenot Arms Community Center, 23 Wheelock Street Oxford, MA 01540. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA.
