James A Erickson

Worcester- James A. Erickson, 62, passed away at home on Monday, January 18, 2016.

James leaves his daughter Amy-Jo Erickson and her husband Paul of Worcester, his son Joseph J. Erickson and his wife Trisia of Barre, his two sisters Beverly Belvery of Oxford and Virginia Arsenault and her husband Joe of FL, his 5 beloved grandchildren- Peter, Jose, Jay, Matty and Andy, and other extended family and friends. James also leaves his best friend of many years John Narducci. He was predeceased by his parents Albert R. and Marian C. Erickson and his brother Edgar R. Erickson.

James worked for many years as a self-employed carpenter and was incredibly skilled at working with his hands. His grandchildren were his life- nothing made James happier than to spend time with them. He also loved to cook and fish, and spending time outdoors. James will be remembered by many for the 30 years he spent playing Santa Clause with the Oxford American Legion Post 58 during their annual Christmas party.
