Eleni (Krimbithi) Psomadelis

Worcester – Eleni (Krimbithi) Psomadelis, 71, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on December 12, 2017 with the ones she loved gathered at her side.

Eleni was born in Thiva, Greece, the eldest daughter of Anastasio and Ismini Krimbithi; She was raised in Greece where she married Georgios Psomadelis and began a life of caring for her husband, and raising her children.  In 1970 Eleni and Georgios immigrated to the United States, settling in Worcester, MA; Her favorite pastime was cooking Greek food, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially the time she spent with her granddaughter who she loved so much and who is also named Eleni.

Eleni leaves behind her devoted husband Georgios; her three children: Marianthi Psomadelis Kote and her husband Edmond Kote of Rochdale, Peter Psomadelis of Worcester, and Anastaios Psomadelis of Worcester; one grandchild: Eleni Marie Psomadelis; her sisters: Sotiria, Demetra, Vagelio, Maria, as well as their spouses and children; She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the caring people at St. Vincent Hospital, especially in the dialysis and critical care units for their care and friendship which will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be on Monday December 18, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am at St. Spyridon’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street Worcester, MA; Committal will follow in Hope Cemetery.
