Athur B. Roberts

Charlton – Arthur B. Roberts, 65, passed away on March 31, 2017 at the Harrington Memorial Hospital;

He is survived by his wife Doris E. (Madera) Roberts, with whom he shared thirteen years of marriage; his son: DQuincy Roberts; his grandson Capone Roberts; his granddaughter Cydney Roberts; two brothers: Leroy Roberts Jr. and his wife Jackie, and Thaddus Roberts and his wife Norma; three sisters: Estelle Roberts and her husband Dabney McCain, Carlyle Roberts and her husband Edward Daniels, and Katie Roberts; two aunts: Lois Roberts and Katie Pettigrew; two nephews: Samuel and Alex Jr.; fourteen nieces: Ayana, Adia, Tina, Ashley, Shawn, Kamaria, Itzy, Gisselle, Jaevone, Jahsaia, Veronica, Brenda, and Nilsa; his mother-in-law Ramona Madera; his brother-in-law Joel; three sisters-in-law: Maria Santiesteban, Doris Orona, and Luz Gonzalez, as well as many relatives and friends.

Arthur was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on January 1, 1952, son of LeRoy and Willie (Pettigrew) Roberts; He graduated from Quinsigamond Community College, and worked in Human Resources, as well as being an EMT.  Arthur greatly enjoyed fishing, working in his garden, and working with electronics;  He was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  Arthur will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.

All are invited to attend Calling Hours on Thursday April 6, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors, 838 Main Street Worcester, MA; Funeral and Committal Services will be held in Arthur’s Hometown of Lynchburg, VA.
