It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Juanita Morales, who passed away on November 15th, 2023 at the age of 57.
Juanita was born on June 24th, 1966 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to Maria Morales & Juan Gonzalez. She grew up in Boston, MA alongside her siblings. Juanita was a loving sister and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand and a listening ear. Her warm personality, infectious smile, and generous heart made her an instant favorite among all who knew her. She had a passion for food, especially McDonald’s but she also loved to cook and whenever she cooked she said “it was the bomb.com.” It was the chefs kiss.
Despite facing many challenges in her life, Juanita remained resilient and persevered through it all. She was a feisty fighter till the end, and her unwavering faith in God was an inspiration to us all. She lived by her favorite scripture Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.” And she loved TD Jakes.
Juanita is survived by her husband Ivan Rodriguez. Her mother, Maria Elena Morales, her siblings Margarita and Ricky Bland, John Flores, Millie Morales, Maggie Gonzalez, Carmen & Ramon Alicea, Maria & Tino De Leon, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Juan Gonzalez, her siblings Brian Flores, Ana Gonzalez, Luz Flores, Maria Flores, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Juanita’s favorite saying was “I love you to the moon and back!” And now we are saying it to you! We love you to the moon and back! We will miss her dearly, but take comfort that she is in the arms of the Lord.
Calling hours will be held on Friday November 17th, 2023 from 4-6pm at Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlors 838 Main St Worcester, Ma 01610.
